Protective measures under Covid-19

 

Administrators wishes, as usual, that all customers of Torre de Gomariz feel welcome, and in this new stage, feel even more secure and confident with us. In this way, we reinforced our hygiene and safety standards, having been adapted to the new requirements. To this end, we will comply with the recommendations of Turismo de Portugal and the Directorate-General for Health.

Located in Cervães, Vila Verde, the hotel is located on a property surrounded by vineyards and leafy forest. With only 24 rooms and a capacity for 50 guests, all rooms and suites (except the Tower Suite), have direct access to the outside. The lack of corridors allows for a free movement of people. The gardens, the vineyard and the forest allow long walks, where the sounds of nature will be your background music.

General considerations

The entire team at Torre de Gomariz Wine & Spa Hotel had adequate training on COVID-19 and how to comply with all the recommendations of DGS and Turismo de Portugal;

The use of a mask is recommended when circulating through common areas within buildings;

Do not discourage the social distance between guests, the respiratory etiquette and regular hand washing;

All common areas have hand sanitizer available;

All of our services (indoor pool and jacuzzi circuit, breakfast, lunch and dinner rooms) have been reduced in capacity, so reservations are required and we recommend booking in advance (subject to availability);

Prefer digital and telephone media as a means of contact;

There is an internal Contingency Plan following the measures in force;

The cleaning of all surfaces will be reinforced, and in particular, the surfaces with the greatest risk of contamination and transmission such as door handles, tablets, tables, benches, Tpa's, among others;

All employees will be provided with personal protective equipment according to their function and will be subject to the measurement of body temperature before entering service;

 

Reception

The internal health and safety protocol will be sent to guests before arriving at the hotel;

A form will be sent by email to fill in the guest and billing details, to reduce the check-in and check-out time; descriptions about the hotel and its services may be carried out in person or by telephone, according to the preferences of the guests;

All of our menus and essential information will also be sent, so that the guest can plan their stay, to be able to enjoy and experience all of our services;

Consider giving preference to pay by bank card over cash payment. The TPA's will also be disinfected with each use.

The contact areas at the reception will be disinfected after each service.

 

Rooms and Suites

The Housekeeping team was trained to reinforce cleaning and disinfection, to strictly comply with the guidelines of DGS and Turismo de Portugal;

If you do not want to clean your room during the stay or the turndown process, you must inform the reception;

After using the rooms, they will be subject to disinfection with an ozone machine and by natural ventilation, so we ask that our guests respect the check-in times (from 15:00) and check-out (until 12am);

Gomariz Restaurant, Tower Bar and Wine Bar

Guidelines 023/2020 of the Directorate-General for Health will be followed;

There will be a distance of 2 meters between tables, in the Restaurant, Wine bar and terraces. Due to the reduction in seats, and to provide an excellent service, F&B services are mandatory to reserve in advance;

Prefer, whenever possible, our terraces;

The menus will be presented in digital media or QRcode;

The tables will be cleaned and disinfected after each use;

Reinforcement of HACCP measures, by the entire F&B team;

 

Spa

Guests will have access to the indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi and turkish bath for 45minutes. Space will be conditioned to a maximum number of guests at the same time, so they will be subject to prior booking;

The menus will be presented in formats that allow better disinfection;

Facial treatments, “Grape Cure” Ritual and “Two Touches” massage are unavailable;

The materials of the treatment rooms will be properly disinfected after each treatment, so prior booking is requested with the maximum advance;

We advise that the guest comes from the room prepared for the massage/treatment.

 

Actividades

Disinfection of bicycles after each use;

Disinfection of tennis rackets after each use;

Picnic baskets will be properly disinfected;
